It’s official! The last final year examination has been sat and, as far as we know, the last piece of coursework submitted.

And now, for the first time in three or four years you may be faced with an empty schedule, free time and the beginning of your job hunt.

You may well have started applying for jobs already, you may even have one lined up, but, there’s still plenty you can take advantage of before you graduate from LJMU.

We want to begin by letting you know that all of the World of Work’s services remain open to you for life. So, no matter where you are in the world, or how far in the future, you can always give us a call for some advice and guidance on applications or your career path.

We of course know that these 8 weeks could be vitally important to your employment prospects and so we have loaded them with quick, useful webinars and wide-ranging but intensive boot camps.

Career Kickstart

There are 4 Career Kickstarts before graduation starting on 20th May, 3rd June, 15th June and 8th July.

These 3-day programmes give you an insight into writing and refining CVs and applications for competitive graduate roles, searching for jobs in places other graduates may not be looking and how to stand out at Assessment Centres, including a full day, mock Assessment Centre.

Business and Law School Careers Workshops

The ‘pick and mix’ option for those students in the Liverpool Business School or the School of Law.

Sessions include how to write a stand out CV, how to shine at interview and how to tap in to the ‘hidden jobs market’.
