The Nursing Careers Fair took place in February and was a great success with over 100 nursing students in attendance.  The event started off with talks from professionals in the industry:

• Carolyn Cowperthwaite, Assistant Chief Nurse, Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust
• Trish Bennett, Director of Nursing, Mersey Care NHS Foundation
• Katherine Tyson and Eve Mousley, Ward Managers, Secure Division, Merseycare

This was followed by an employer marketplace with 28 organisations on hand to meet and network with students and talk about the opportunities they have available.
