As social distancing measures remain in place many organisations are choosing to make the transition from ‘in person’ assessment centres to virtual alternatives. Only time will tell whether they are here to stay, but in the meantime here is a quick guide to get you better acquainted with virtual assessment centres.

We host online ‘Practise your virtual assessment centre skills’ events, in which you can get first-hand experience of a virtual assessment centre (VAC), with the support and guidance of your Careers, Employability and Enterprise Team. Check out our upcoming events to find out the date of the next event and book yourself a place.

You may also find it useful to check out our blog piece on video interviews, which includes some great tips to get your preparation off the ground, and our mini guide to interview success introduces you to both commonly-asked interview questions and lots of useful links for further research and practice, including our interview simulator.
